Credit Mend (hereinafter referred to as the “App,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides this policy to explain what information we access during your use of our credit evaluation services, why we access it, how it is used and retained, and what controls you have over it. This policy should be read together with the prompts you see at the authorization interface; if there is any inconsistency between the two, the more specific prompt applicable to the processing activity at that time shall prevail.
1. Information We Access and Its Boundaries
We access only the information necessary to operate the credit evaluation service. We do not expand the scope, nor do we use information for purposes not disclosed to you.
1.1 Information automatically obtained during service operation
After you enter the App and confirm this policy, we obtain the following two categories of information related to device and account security:
(1) Installed application list.
We read the list of applications installed on your device solely to determine whether there are abnormal signs in the device environment and as a reference signal in the credit evaluation model. This information will not be used to identify your social relationships, communication content, or specific usage preferences.
(2) Device identifiers and system parameters.
This includes device model, operating system version, and unique device identifiers. This information is used to confirm the consistency of the service operating environment, identify abnormal logins or device changes, and help improve the App’s stability across different device models.
1.2 Camera permission requiring separate activation
Camera permission does not take effect automatically upon confirmation of this policy. The App will use the camera only after you actively click to enable it, and only in the following specific scenario:
Use scenario: When you submit an issue through the “Feedback” or “Customer Support” channel, you may choose to take photos or record videos to present the situation you describe more clearly.
Consequence of refusal: Not enabling camera permission will not prevent you from using the core credit evaluation features. You may still submit feedback via text only, and we will process your issue in the same manner.
2. Giving and Withdrawing Authorization
Your consent to camera permission should be an autonomous choice made after full understanding. Authorization is given through the App’s separate confirmation interface and recorded electronically in a traceable manner.
You may disable camera permission at any time in your device’s system settings. After disabling, we will no longer access new information through that permission. Information processing already completed before disabling will not lose its legitimacy on the basis of the subsequent withdrawal.
3. Security Measures
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information we access, including transmission encryption, access-level controls, and operation audits, to reduce the risk of unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or loss. Security capabilities are adjusted continuously as the service operates.
If a security incident involving your personal information occurs, we will initiate handling procedures in accordance with applicable rules and notify affected users in a reasonable manner of the nature of the incident, the possible scope of information involved, and the measures that can be taken.
4. Retention Period
We retain information only for the period necessary to achieve the purposes described in this policy. When the retention period expires, you cancel your account, or the information is no longer necessary for the original purpose, we will delete it or anonymize it so that it no longer points to a specific individual.
5. Your Control Over Information
You may exercise the following rights regarding your personal information. Exercising these rights does not affect uses already completed before the authorization was given.
To know about processing: Confirm whether your information is being processed, and the purposes, scope, and methods of processing.
To object: Object to specific information processing activities.
To obtain a copy: Request access to the content, source, recipients, and processing methods of your personal information held by us.
To rectification: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information.
To erasure or blocking: Request deletion or cessation of use of information when it is incomplete, outdated, inaccurate, improperly obtained, or no longer necessary for the collection purpose.
To data portability: Obtain a copy of the information being processed in an electronic, structured, and commonly used format.
To exercise these rights, please contact us using the email address at the end of this policy. We will respond within a reasonable period and explain the reasons if a request cannot be fulfilled.
6. Minors
The App is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not proactively provide services to children. If we become aware that a child’s personal information has been accessed without guardian consent, we will take steps to delete it as soon as possible.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy when the service content, permission scope, or applicable rules change. For material changes, we will notify you through in-app announcements or pop-ups, and the updated content will apply from the effective date stated in the notice.
