Delete your account

You can cancel your Credit Mend account at any time. This page explains exactly what happens to your data, how long it takes, and how to do it — in the app or by email.

Before you start

Deleting your account is permanent after the cooling-off period. Please read the following carefully:

  • 15-day cooling-off period. After you submit a cancellation request, your account enters a 15-day cooling-off period. Log in again during this time to cancel the request and keep your account.
  • After 15 days, deletion is irreversible. Your account and personal data will be permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.
  • You will lose access to your estimated score, score history, improvement plan and all saved assessments.
  • Email verification is required so we can confirm the request really comes from you.

1What will be deleted

  • Account information — phone number, email address and login credentials.
  • Identity information — data collected in the KYC assessment (age, occupation, education, income, credit accounts).
  • Usage data — estimated scores, score history, saved plans, simulator inputs and feedback attachments.
  • Device data — device identifiers and log data associated with your account.

2What we must keep by law

In accordance with applicable laws and regulations, some records may need to be retained after deletion, such as:

  • Records required for statutory retention periods (e.g. transaction or compliance records).
  • Data needed to resolve pending disputes or legal claims.
  • Anonymized or aggregated statistics that can no longer identify you.
Retained data is kept only for the legally required period, protected with the same safeguards described in our Privacy Policy, and will never be used for new purposes.

3How to delete your account

    Open the app → go to Me → Account Cancellation and read the cancellation notice.

    Verify your identity — confirm via email verification, then submit the cancellation request.
  3. 3
    15-day cooling-off period — log in again at any time during this window to cancel the request. After 15 days, your account and data are permanently deleted.

4Can't use the app?

If you can no longer log in or use the app, you can request deletion by email instead. Send us a message from the email address linked to your Credit Mend account, with the subject line "Account Deletion Request", and include your registered phone number so we can verify you.

Requests submitted by email are processed within 15 business days after identity verification. If you change your mind before deletion completes, reply to our confirmation email to withdraw the request.
